We’re celebrating our 25th year as a congregation of the ELCA and all that God has done and is doing for and through us here in Jackson Hole.
We would love for you to be a part, whether you come visit, donate, or hold us in prayer.
Rejoice, Renew, Reach Out
This anniversary is an opportunity to rejoice in all that God has done in and through us – to remember and to give thanks for the journey thus far. It is an opportunity to renew – to continue to cultivate the congregation and the community here and now. It is an opportunity to reach out – to invest in the wider church’s mission (as others once invested in us). We will be engaging this theme throughout the year – keep up to date with our monthly newsletters!
$25k for 25 years
We want to commemorate this anniversary in a big way: by raising $25,000 for our 25 years as an ELCA congregation. This is not money for the congregation’s regular operating budget but a special fund for celebrating and giving back; to be a blessing as we have been blessed. This thanksgiving will honor all who have worked alongside or been touched by us, and trust God to continue to work through us in the future. The fund is about loving our neighbor as ourselves in concrete ways, and is focused on music and mission (both local and beyond). It has three main components: new congregational music by Marty Haugen, support for Teton Habit for Humanity, an important non-profit partner as we work to address a critical need in our community, and the Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod’s Moving in Mission Together campaign.
