5:30 pm Soup Supper / 6 pm Holden Evening Prayer

Please join us for this modified version of Holden Evening Prayer as we begin Lent.

We are honored to be hosting this year’s World Day of Prayer, a worldwide ecumenical movement led by Christian women of many traditions. This year, the women of Slovenia crafted our worship service, helping us understand how they interpret scripture in their context and highlighting issues of mission, justice and peace that are important to them. There will be a reception at 5:30; the service will begin at 6 pm.  Please join us!

For 8 years Mitzi Cook has done an amazing job as our church secretary but she is now moving on to other callings.  We pray the best for Mitzi in the future and sincerely thank her for her devotion and all she has done for Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church.  We will miss you, Mitzi!

Please join us for Advent worship!  In addition to regular Sunday morning services you are invited to Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesday nights at 6:00 December 5th, 12th, and 19th.  The Christmas Choir will rehearse afterward, so if you enjoy lifting your voice in song you are welcome to join in.  On Christmas Eve there will be worship at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.  Worship time on Christmas day will be announced in an upcoming post.  We pray you will worship with us this year!
